Narayaniyam Navamadasakam in English
॥ narayanīyaṁ navamadaśakam ॥
narayanīyaṁ navamadaśakam (9) – brahmanaḥ tapaḥ tatha lōkasr̥stiḥ
sthitaḥ sa kamalōdbhavastava hi nabhipaṅkēruhē
kutaḥ svididamaṁbudhavuditamityanalōkayan ।
tadīksanakutūhalatpratidiśaṁ vivr̥ttanana-
ścaturvadanatamagadvikasadastadr̥styaṁbujam ॥ 9-1 ॥
maharnavavighūrnitaṁ kamalamēva tatkēvalaṁ
vilōkya tadupaśrayaṁ tava tanuṁ tu nalōkayan ।
ka ēsa kamalōdarē mahati nissahayō hyahaṁ
kutaḥ svididamaṁbujaṁ samajanīti cintamagat ॥ 9-2 ॥
amusya hi sarōruhaḥ kimapi karanaṁ saṁbhavē-
diti sma kr̥taniścayaḥ sa khalu nalarandhradhvana ।
svayōgabalavidyaya samavarūdhavanpraudhadhīḥ
tvadīyamatimōhanaṁ na tu kalēbaraṁ dr̥stavan ॥ 9-3 ॥
tatassakalanalikavivaramargagō margayan
prayasya śatavatsaraṁ kimapi naiva sandr̥stavan ।
nivr̥tya kamalōdarē sukhanisanna ēkagradhīḥ
samadhibalamadadhē bhavadanugrahaikagrahī ॥ 9-4 ॥
śatēna parivatsarairdr̥dhasamadhibandhōllasat-
prabōdhaviśadīkr̥taḥ sa khalu padminīsaṁbhavaḥ ।
adr̥stacaramadbhutaṁ tava hi rūpamantardr̥śa
vyacasta paritustadhīrbhujagabhōgabhagaśrayam ॥ 9-5 ॥
kirītamukutōllasatkatakaharakēyūrayuṅ-
manisphuritamēkhalaṁ suparivītapītaṁbaram ।
kalayakusumaprabhaṁ galatalōllasatkaustubhaṁ
vapustadayi bhavayē kamalajanmanē darśitam ॥ 9-6 ॥
śrutiprakaradarśitapracuravaibhava śrīpatē
harē jaya jaya prabhō padamupaisi distya dr̥śōḥ ।
kurusva dhiyamaśu mē bhuvananirmitau karmatha-
miti druhinavarnitasvagunabaṁhima pahi mam ॥ 9-7 ॥
labhasva bhuvanatrayīracanadaksatamaksataṁ
gr̥hana madanugrahaṁ kuru tapaśca bhūyō vidhē ।
bhavatvakhilasadhanī mayi ca bhaktiratyutkatē-
tyudīrya giramadadha muditacētasaṁ vēdhasam ॥ 9-8 ॥
śataṁ kr̥tatapastataḥ sa khalu divyasaṁvatsara-
navapya ca tapōbalaṁ matibalaṁ ca pūrvadhikam ।
udīksya kila kampitaṁ payasi paṅkajaṁ vayuna
bhavadbalavijr̥ṁbhitaḥ pavanapathasī pītavan ॥ 9-9 ॥
tavaiva kr̥paya punaḥ sarasijēna tēnaiva saḥ
prakalpya bhuvanatrayīṁ pravavr̥tē prajanirmitau ।
tathavidhakr̥pabharō gurumarutpuradhīśvara
tvamaśu paripahi maṁ gurudayōksitairīksitaiḥ ॥ 9-10 ॥
iti navamadaśakaṁ samaptam ॥
