॥ శ్రీదుర్గాదేవికవచమ్ ॥
శ్రీగణేశాయ నమః ।
ఈశ్వర ఉవాచ ।
శ్రృణు దేవి ప్రవక్ష్యామి కవచం సర్వసిద్ధిదమ్ ।
పఠిత్వా పాఠయిత్వా చ నరో ముచ్యేత సఙ్కటాత్ ॥ ౧॥
అజ్ఞాత్వా కవచం దేవి దుర్గామన్త్రం చ యో జపేత్ ।
స నాప్నోతి ఫలం తస్య పరం చ నరకం వ్రజేత్ ॥ ౨॥
ఉమాదేవీ శిరః పాతు లలాటే శూలధారిణీ ।
చక్షుషీ ఖేచరీ పాతు కర్ణౌ చత్వరవాసినీ ॥ ౩॥
సుగన్ధా నాసికే పాతు వదనం సర్వధారిణీ ।
జిహ్వాం చ చణ్డికాదేవీ గ్రీవాం సౌభద్రికా తథా ॥ ౪॥
అశోకవాసినీ చేతో ద్వౌ బాహూ వజ్రధారిణీ ।
హృదయం లలితాదేవీ ఉదరం సింహవాహినీ ॥ ౫॥
కటిం భగవతీ దేవీ ద్వావూరూ విన్ధ్యవాసినీ ।
మహాబలా చ జఙ్ఘే ద్వే పాదౌ భూతలవాసినీ ॥ ౬॥
ఏవం స్థితాఽసి దేవి త్వం త్రైలోక్యే రక్షణాత్మికా ।
రక్ష మాం సర్వగాత్రేషు దుర్గే దేవి నమోఽస్తుతే ॥ ౭॥
॥ ఇతి శ్రీకుబ్జికాతన్త్రే దుర్గాకవచమ్ సమ్పూర్ణమ్ ॥
॥ Durga Kavacham Meaning ॥
Oh Devi, I am telling you the armor which gets you everything,
Reading or making others read, men get rid of all their sorrows.
If he who does not know learns this Kavacham,
Along with the Durga Mantram,
He would add to himself the strength,
Of the five serpents again.
Let Uma Devi protect my head,
Let my forehead be protected by her who carries the soola,
Let the lion protect my eyes,
And let her who lives near the gate protect my ears.
Let she who is like incense protect my nose,
Let she who carries everything protect my face,
Let Chandika Devi protect my tongue,
Let Soupathrika protect my neck.
Let Asoka Vasini protect my consciousness
Let Vajra Dharini protect my two arms,
Let Lalitha Devi protect my heart,
Let my belly be protected by She who rides on a lion.
Let Bhagwathi Devi protect my hips,
Let She who lives on Vindhya protect my two thighs,
Let the very strong one protect my calf,
And let she who lives on all beings protect my two feet.
Thus stands the Devi who protects the three worlds,
Please protect all my body parts,
