॥ śrī ahōbala nr̥siṁha stōtram ॥
laksmīkataksasarasīruharajahaṁsaṁ
paksīndraśailabhavanaṁ bhavanaśamīśaṁ ।
gōksīrasara ghanasarapatīravarnaṁ
vandē kr̥panidhimahōbalanarasiṁham ॥ 1 ॥

adyantaśūnyamajamavyayamapramēyaṁ
adityacandraśikhilōcanamadidēvaṁ ।
abjamukhabjamadalōlupamattabhr̥ṅgaṁ
vandē kr̥panidhimahōbalanarasiṁham ॥ 2 ॥

kōtīrakōtighatitōjjvalakantikantaṁ
kēyūraharamanikundalamanditaṅgaṁ ।
cūdagrarañjitasudhakarapūrnabimbaṁ
vandē kr̥panidhimahōbalanarasiṁham ॥ 3 ॥

varahavamananr̥siṁhasubhagyamīśaṁ
krīdavilōlahr̥dayaṁ vibudhēndravandyaṁ ।
haṁsatmakaṁ paramahaṁsamanōviharaṁ
vandē kr̥panidhimahōbalanarasiṁham ॥ 4 ॥

mandakinījananahētupadaravindaṁ
br̥ndarakalayavinōdanamujjvalaṅgaṁ ।
mandarapuspatulasīracitaṅghripadmaṁ

tarunyakr̥snatulasīdaladhamaramyaṁ
dhatrīramabhiramanaṁ mahanīyarūpaṁ ।

॥ Sri Ahobala Narasimha Stotram Meaning ॥

I salute the treasure of mercy, the Narasimha of Ahobila,
Who is the royal swan playing in the pond of Lakshmi’s glances,
Who lives on Garudadhri*, Who is the god destroying rebirth,
Who is the colour of cow’s milk, camphor and snow.
* Another name for Ahobila. ॥ 1 ॥

I salute the treasure of mercy, the Narasimha of Ahobila,
Who does not have a beginning, death, birth, change or definition,
Who has sun, moon and fire as eyes, who is primeval,
And who is like the inebriated bee flying round lotus face of Lakshmi. ॥ 2 ॥

I salute the treasure of mercy, the Narasimha of Ahobila
Who shines with the luster of well tied thick shiny hair.
Who wears crown, necklaces, ear studs and shines,
And who is like the attractive face of the full moon. ॥ 3 ॥

I salute the treasure of mercy, the Narasimha of Ahobila,
Who is fortunate the god who was Varaha, Vamana and Narasimha,
Who has a heart full of frolic, who is worshipped by kings of devas,
Who incarnated as swan and, lives in the mind of great sages. ॥ 4 ॥

I salute the treasure of mercy, the Narasimha of Ahobila,
Whose feet was the reason for birth of river Ganga,
Who has a shining body making the assembly of Gods happy,
And whose lotus feet is decorated by ocimum and Mandara* flowers. ॥ 5 ॥

I salute the treasure of mercy, the Narasimha of Ahobila,
Who is attractive being decorated by the black Thulasi leaves,
Who has an attractive great form and the beloved of Goddess Lakshmi and the earth,
Who is worshipped by king of mantras and creates insult to the asuras. ॥ 6 ॥
