Meaning: Oh, Mind, meditating upon the divine name of Sri Rama is enough. Where is the necessity to perform severe penance?.

taraka rama nama dhyanamu jesina jalu
veru veru daivamulanu veduka netike manasa ॥
Meaning:
Oh Mind, it is enough meditating upon Sri Rama’s holy name which bestows salvation. Why do you search here and there for different deities?.

bhagavatula pada jalamu paina challukonna jalu
bhagirathiki poyyenane bhrAntiyetike ॥
bhagavatula vagamrtamu panamu jesina jalu
bagu miranatti amruta panametike manasa ॥
Meaning: Oh Mind, it is enough sprinkling of water on the head the water used to wash the feet of Vishnu devotees. Why do you want to go to the Ganga river only to get water. It is enough if you listen to the nectarine words of Vishnu devotees. Why do you require nectar which is not better?.

parula himsa seyakunna parama dharmamante chalu
parulanu raksintunani palkanetike ॥
dorakani parula dhanamula dochakayundite chalu
gurutuganu gopuramu gattanetike manasa ॥
Meaning: Oh Mind, it is enough if you do not harm others. You need not promise to save others. It is enough if you do not loot others’ wealth. Why do you bother to build a temple tower for your fame?.

atithi vachi Akalanna anna minta nidina jalu
kratuvu seya valenane kankshayetike ॥
satatamu ma bhadragiri swami ramadasudaina
itara matamulani yeti vetala vetike manasa ॥
Meaning: Oh Mind, it is enough if you give food to a hungry person. You need not have the desire to perform sacrifice or ritual to feed others. Why do you search for other faiths when Bhdrachala Ramadasu is a devoted servant of Sri Rama.
